New to bubhub

Hi everyone

I have been lurking around the forums for a couple of weeks and thought I should introduce myself. My name's Bec, and my husband and I got married in November. We are looking to start trying for a family in November, but I am trying to convince him to start earlier! :thumbsup: Unfortunately so far he has not given in to my arguments :thumbsdown: lol

Im from Perth, currently living in Rockingham but hoping to move a bit closer to the city in the next couple of months.
Im a bit scared about ttc as none of my friends are at the same stage in their lives atm, ie i dont know anybody that has kids!
So ill be relying heavily on all of your wonderful advice!

As for rushing in to have children, enjoy your time together alone as once the little bundle of joy arrives there will not be much time for each other!!! Being happy with yourself and each other is the main thing!! Also finance unfortunately does come into the picture, I wanted to have a baby soon after marriage, but my husband said he wasn't ready and we needed to be financially secure - I now realise that he was right! We have two lovely girls now a secure home!!

Hi All,
I'm another newbie, and another Jo.
Hubby and I are just starting to TTC, so hoping it all goes well.

We are also thinking of moving to Perth (from NZ) at the moment, as he could get some good job opportunities over there, which would be great if we do have a bub and I stop working. On the downside it would mean leaving behind all our friends and family, although we know a couple of people over there.

Anyway, that's where we are at right now.
