It has been a while since I visited here as I have been trying to keep away from the temptation of buying more nappies (I have plenty!). Anyway, I am so excited and my friends just don't get it, but I know you guys will!

I am starting work in a few weeks at a walk-in MCN store in Melbourne!!! Yippee!

I am seriously going to have to leave my wallet at home when I go to work as I really don't need to buy any more. But we shall see how I go when surrounded by these lovely things for hours at a time!

Ok, I feel better now. I have been telling my friends and you can see their eyes glaze over when I mention the word nappies... people just don't get it!

They haven't done the official store launch yet so I should probably not say... it is in the inner-east region though.

How exciting, congratulations.

I'm a rep for one of the MCN brands and it's sooo much fun talking to people about them, and knowing that they're actually interested and listening... unlike my poor friends and rellies who just look at me like I'm completely insane.

*envy*

Sydney should have one. Everywhere should have one. Though I'd probably spend way too much time and money there....

Isn't it so sad that no one else 'gets' how cool some of these nappies are and how much money you can save.. hmm.. that's if you don't get addicted.. I wish there was a store near me too (bit jealous). It's hard buying things online without knowing how they fit, etc etc. In saying that, I did discover that the Itti Bitti people are about a half hour drive from me. Anyways, there's definately a market for walk in stores selling different brands of MCN's.

Absolutely. The fact they aren't commercially available means that most people don't even know they exist! I've spent the last few days extolling their virtues to other people (disclaiming the fact that I haven't actually used them yet lol). But just telling people they exist is getting me some surprised looks. My mum can't wait to see them (being an old hand at the terry cloths) and is excited about using them! Between the two of us I expect we'll work out the best fits etc :) I'm actually taking some of the ones I've bought into work today to show a couple of people who know others who're having bubs soon - because their friends/reles apparently want to use cloth but only know of the terry flats. Some of those trial packs would make awesome baby shower gifts :D

It will be very nice going to work and talking about nappies to people who have an interest. That is one reason I so enjoyed working at the baby expo last year, as people wanted to know more about them.

I am old friends with the owner- the funny thing is that she didn't convert me- I had already been doing cloth for months before I found out about her online shop and that I could have got them all from her!

Now of course the nappies have been in use for almost 2 years so quite a few have been updated :). Always room for more!
