Hi there- I am a full time new mum to a 14 mo son- he is an only child (Izac David)
Anyhow i am new mum :yelclap: - I am a stay at home mum who helps dad when she can run his home business. I am currently still breastfeeding as my child has many allergies and cannot take any type of diary product and has rejected every Soy product on the market. I wanted him to be off the breast by 1 yrs old but things dont always go to plan-
I also wanted to have another baby by the time my son IZAC is 2 yrs old but I cannot see that occuring at the moment until we sort out his allergies and eating habits.
I have a fussy eater who drives me crazy and into tears sometimes with his refusal to eat. He will see a dietician this month and i hope they can help me before i go crazy...: I am told he is underweight so i hope we can get him a bit fatter before he reaches 2 yrs old.
Izac is also very weary of strangers as he is stuck at home all the time with me.
We go to playgroup once a week to get him used to other people but i feel he needs more than once a week.

Anyhow feel free to drop a line anytime- Ill talk to anyone- as i go crazy being home with the husband and baby all the time..................... :banghead:
I would love to hear how other people cope and any tips, ideas, words of encouragement and a mutual crazy friendship would be ideal.
:devil6:

Hi Ness

Welcome to the hub, I'm sure you'll find a lovely and supportive bunch of ppl here.

I noticed that you accidentally closed your thread so that no-one could reply (which is why it's a bit quiet in here). Don't check the "close the thread after my post" checkbox, as it doesn't simply exit the thread, it closes it so that no-one can reply. Everybody does it :D .

Cheers

Hello, and welcome to the bub hub! I'm a newbie myself, and found so many nice mums and helpful advice, my darling son is just over 15 months, and i have a problem with getting him to eat aswell. I only breast fed for 4 days in hospital, and got so frustrated with the "He knew how to do it last feed, why isnt he doing it now". So i decided that the bottle was the best thing, for him and ME! hehe.
He has very serve ezcema, and drinks soy milk, he hated it at first, but i started to put quik in it, and he loves it... The only food that i know i can GET him to eat is weetbix in the morning, aslong as its before 7am, and hot chips anytime of the day! He does though, LOVE and i mean LOVE the organic heinz food jars. I have seen so many skin specilist and doctors, he cant have things like fruit, apart from banana's, butter, milk, ice cream, anything with full cream milk in it.

I dont think that will help you much with your problem, but just thought i would share that with you, and welcome you aswell. Im a sahm aswell, my hubbie works a far bit, i live in morley, so if ur close by maybe we can catch up for a coffee.

Hi there!!!

I'm also relatively new to Bub Hub. :) I have a 10 month old son (Samuel), also an only child. Not only am I new to Bub Hub, also new to Sydney. I live in Rose Bay so PM if you'd like to get together. I have a lot of allergies and that is why my pedia is so careful that my son doesn't have the same sensitivities. He is currently on a hypoallergenic formula (Nan 2 HA) and loves the stuff. There are lots of friendly mummies here so I'm sure you'll make many friends. :smiliedance: See yah around!
