Do you have/had an addiction?

I'm just wondering if anyone here hs had an addiction of some sort...Poll coming..

I used to have a Sleeping Tablet addiction. When I was about 17yo.

Prescribed to me was 2nightly, but Ide take about 6-7, I used to set my alarm to 3am coz when I woke up at 3am Ide feel so 'high'...I think it was around that time the peak of the tablet...It felt so good.

Then about 2weeks later the tabets ide been prescribed were on 60minutes...I stopped taking them after that...

Yep, I've been addicted to cigarettes. At one stage I was smoking my pack of 30 cigarettes at uni, and then coming home and starting in on DH's packet. When I started having nightly asthma attacks, I knew it was time to stop. It took me 6 attempts, and the anti-addiction tablets Zyban to stop. I'm so glad I did.

This was 2 or 3 years pre-kids, and I'm pleased it's not been an issue while I've been pregnant or breastfeeding :)

I am now seven years clean, will be eight this coming October.

used to be a binge drinker-gave up when i found out i was pregnant

only been trashed once in 8 years:D

now i wonder how/why i ever drank?
