advice please? what does this mean?

Just some background info
* 31/12/08 I had my 2nd m/c
* HCG checked on the 6/1, it was 56
* 4/2 HCG checked, now 500
* yesterday 13/2 levels now 93,000

So I fell pregnant again a week or so after my m/c, I may be 4 or 5 weeks pregnant. Is it possible to have such a high reading for HCG this early on?? Very confused and thinking maybe I heard the wrong thing from the nurse but I'm sure she said 93,000.

Any advice really appreciated :)
I hope to have an ultrasound next Friday.

So has anyone been in the same situation, with hcg levels at 93,000 when only 5 weeks pregnant? And have then gone on to have a heathly pregnancy and baby? I kinda wish I hadn't found out now cause now I'm thinking molar pregnancy!! Sometimes all the info on the internet can be a curse.

so you havn't had a AF since the M/C?

there is the possibility that you O'd right after your M/C, so that could make you 6-7wks pregnant, or there is the possibility that there is more than 1 in there

No, I didn't have af after my m/c though had some spotting on the 24th Jan which may have been implant bleeding. After 2 m/c's it's hard not to think the worst, I just didn't expect the hcg level to be so high but on the other hand am so glad it's risen. But like you said I might be further along than I think and then the numbers might be ok.

Pinkbinkie, have you been scheduled for a scan yet?
Soon2be3, usually a level of 2 is regarded as a negative result. Did you talk to your Dr about it?
