when do teeth come!

i'm after a bit of help, my daughter is 9 months old, and still no teeth!
Sure she's been teething for months, but theres no sign of any!:shame:

is there anything I can do to get them through and when did your baby's get there first?:confused:

My DS is 8 months. I thought he was never getting any teeth either.

Feels like he's been teething the last month.

But last night...my GOODNESS.....the screaming. When he gets up from his sleep in about half an hr, i'm going to see if there are any little white pegs in his mouth.

I was told that the arrival of your child's teeth/tooth are related to the age that their parents got their teeth. I dont know if this is a myth....but it worked for us.

I got my first tooth at about 6 months and DH got his at 11months. Looks like our DS got his first at 8 months....so inbetween our ages.

But don't panic....i've been told that if they don't have teeth at the age of 12 months, then you would need to see someone.

My girls both had a few teeth at 6 months of age.

My boys teethed at 8wks and 12wks. My daughter however, got her first at 11mths, LOL. She got her last one the month before her 4th birthday. Hang in there, they do come eventually.

This sounds like my neice she has also been teething for months but now she is 10 months old & there is two only just coming through now. Dont worry they will come soon!! :o

Oh and my DD got her first two teeth at 6 months; they came through at the same time.

My DD got her first tooth at 8 months....the second one is just popping today. I know kids who haven't gotten a tooth until they were well over one.

Every child is different with teeth..... My son was teething at 5 months old and the first tooth did not appear unti he was 8 months old - He got 2 teeth for his first xmas from santa!!!!.
Do not worry- they will come thru eventually!!!!!!!!!!! My son is 14 months old and just received tooth no 6 a few days ago.............. I am dreading the back molars as he is not a happy camper when he is a teething baby!!!

both of my daughters (1st is 8, 2nd is 91/2mths) got them when they were exactly 7 mths.
91/2mth got 2 through on the same day, another one a week later and hasn't had any since!
My friends daughter didn't get a tooth through until she was about 14mths, so they are definetly all different.

my DD got her front bottem two teeth at 5 months and now she is getting her 'vampire teeth' up top (started coming in at seven months) my aunties bub who is the same age has no teeth though, I think it just happens when it happens!!:D I have no idea how you would make them come quicker though!
