I just had to share I'm so excited my BBHs have arrived (a trial pack) and it's the first time I've been able to have a play with them. :smiliedance: I can't get over how soft they are..

Got a minky magic-all in there as well which is just so adorable (my partner blew raspberries on the bum of it lol). We're impatient to have a baby to practice on now! :p

MCNs really are for the win..

:) Neat.

You may find that they are a bit too big on a newborn though. :o
They are a really fantastic nappy, good choice. :yelclap:

Yah I had thought of that. I might invest in some bamboo prefolds from Booroi for that task :)

:smiliedance: They're my absolute favourite!

I've got the same amount of time to go as you and I can't wait to use them on my scrawny newborn!

I'm itching to get some of both - bamboo fitteds sound awesome, I don't know anyone who's used them who doesn't adore them... and the bamboo prefolds look great! :D

This is going to seem like a silly question.. But never having had a newborn in my arms (ever), I really don't know how big they are.

I got my 6 pack of bamboo prefolds from Booroi this morning - size 1, and they look very small. I'm probably just used to seeing the size of the terry flats, but considering they'll shrink a bit when I wash them, are they really big enough for the job? The website was quite adamant that size 1 was appropriate for a good fit on a newborn.

Otherwise they look like they'd make decent boosters for larger pocket naps when bubs is older.

 Would fit fine.

Newborns are pretty scrawny and terry flats require a lot more folding.

The website shows the ideal way to fold them and I can see that lasting for at least 4-ish months on my babies, who are usually bigger than average.

They do make fantastic boosters too.. ATM I use them in night nappies for my DD.

I use my BBB for nights mostly and they are great for my DD from about 8 weeks.
I use magicalls and ittis and GK during the day.
Im glad you are happy with your purchase. I love my cloth nappies :D

Awesome, thanks :)

My Green Kids anytimes also arrived. A little bit different from what I was expecting (but then, I think I expected something more like the magic-alls). Took me a few minutes to figure out which was the insert and which was the booster - but obviously now I realise the insert is the "big bit". They are extraordinarily simple, though. Hopefully the velcro/aplix will last if I look after them.. :fingerscrossed:

I have a couple of different types to try now when she's big enough to fit them, anyway (presuming she might not be when she's newborn). If the GKs work out, I'll probably invest in a couple of funtimes and minkytimes (the giraffe pattern is omgsocutebbq! :D).

Ive never had a leak from my Gk!! I have minky, anytimes and fun times. i wasnt as fussed by the minky ones as the magicalls antd ittis are better for minky. The gk are bulky but I used then on DD from when she was about 2 weeks old.
