Just wondering if this is even possible or if it is too old.
My darling daughter has always gone to sleep easily and woken once through the night. When she wakes at night I put her in bed with me and I am happy to do that its just that she is refusing a bottle to go to sleep and just wants to keep going till she drops.
I am really struggling here with a way to settle her at night.
Day time is fine she will just lay down and go to sleep.
I have tried a few time to put her in the cot and let her cry for awhile but she won't lay down - and after crying for awhile I go and try and settle her and she will settle but as soon as I try and lay her down she is screaming uncontrolably again.
Honestly after 5 minutes she is out of control with the screaming and doesn't seem anywhere near calming down.
So if anyone has any advice for me I would love to hear from you
Thanks

Have you tried visiting the CHN for some suggestions? My family and I are being admitted on tuesday to the Ellen Baron Clinic to try and sort out our sleep issues, I'll let you know if they tell me anything that may be of use to you. I'm not personally an advocate for CC, so I would try a gentler approach first.

To be honest CC isn't my first choice either but need something. I don't think her sleep issues are bad enough to even think about a sleep clinic but hopefully they give you some good advice you can pass on. Good luck with it :)

crazymuma we are going thru the same thing, my little boy is 18 months and since arriving here 6 weeks ago his sleep has turned to custard, hes waking 3-4 times a night and does exactly what your little one is doing when i go to put him down, i cant even lie him down he just stands up and starts screaming and its really loud uncontrollable screaming, the only way to get him back to sleep his to hold him or give him a bottle but its getting ridiculous, im gearing up to do something but i dont no what just yet, ive tried putting him in my bed and he just wants to play...arg its so frustrating and im so tired so i feel your pain...let us no how you get on :-)
