I used cloth nappies with DD, but I never really used them much when out. With this baby I was thinking about maybe trying to do it full-time.
But, what do you do about pooey nappies when you are out? Not all change rooms have toilets and if they do they are often busy. Or do you just put the nappy, poo and all, into the nappy bag and take it home? If you do this don't you get a lot of odd looks from other parents?:o

I put chuck away liners in mine, and have those smelly bags that you use for sposies. I simply remove the liner, pop it in the smelly bag and throw it where you chuck the sposies ( in that special bin thing) then i have a big zip lock bag AKA a wet bag for the nappy itself! Easy :D

I do the same - poo & liner into a plastic bag, tied off and into the bin and then the nappy goes into a wetbag.
But there have been times when DD has done a poo-splosion, the sort that no nappy (cloth or disposable) will hold in and then everything, clothes, nappy etc goes into a plastic bag and is tied off and then I put it into the wetbag to deal with when I get home. Fortunately now that she is on soilds this isn't an issue. I don't really take a lot of notice of other mums in change rooms - too busy dealing with a squirming bub so I don't know if I've been given any odd looks!?
With my older 2 I used towelling flats but tended to use disposables when we went out, this time I am using MCN and they are much easier to use when out - it's really not such a big deal.

Same here. I just roll up the nappy and secure it with the velcro or snaps and put it in my wet bag. Not problems or smells. Just as easy as a sposie......sometimes easier becaus I dont have to worry about finding a bin.
