This time last year I was lying awake in bed, breathing through regular contractions as my partner slept soundly beside me :D

It will be over 50 hours before my baby turns 1 and over this time I am going within and trying to vividly remember each life changing moment of that unique experience of becoming a mother for the first time.

On February 9 2008 we received our birth pool from our doula and set it up. This year on Feburary 9th our beautiful child began walking (http://fromboobandbeyond.blogspot.com/2009/02/she-can-walk.html).

Anyway, this is the first birth experience anniversary I've had, to me it is special :)

I may pop back in throughout the next 50+ hours and share memories as/if they come back as the anniversary unfolds :sunshine:

Happy Anniversary demeter,

I remember reading your birth story too a while ago, and thinking "this woman is nuts, but so so stong!" all the best to you and your little family :)

Btw, your daughter is just stunning!

I cant believe it has been a year. I was a chronic lurker who kept checking on here and on JB to see if your bub had been born. I hope you and H have a wonderful birthing day.
