Perth baby agencies

Hi everyone,

I would like to get my 10 months old into a model agency as he loooves the camera. I've been trying to find agencies in Perth and I only come up with one which has very expensive fees. Does anyone know of any reliable agencies in Perth?

Sorry Laurita, i have yet to come across a decent one myself. Any friends who have approached agencies have found themselves paying for an expensive portfolio and then basically ignored- and these are GORGEOUS kids!!!!! Another one i spoke to only cast mums+babies together. I'm unphotogenic so that ended that.

Years ago, when I was a kid myself, I used to go to Linda-Ann Modeling Academy. They were brilliant! They couldn't get enough babies on their books (they grow out of babyhood so quickly, the more babies you have the better the chance of having a suitable baby for a casting) and for children they recommended you don't have professional shots for your portfolio, just backyard happy snaps- one facial and one full-body (plus any previous work you've already completed). They always had lots of work- fashion parades, hbf ads, local tv shows, betts+betts ads etc etc.

Sadly Linda-Ann joined with Spiers and they only seem to deal with older kids and adults. I haven't found anything comparable since but would love to hear if anyone else has.

If you're REALLY keen to get involved in child modeling it may well be worth the money to you. Maybe contact a few local organisations (ie local mags like Flourish, local ad agencies, tv production companies/Fremantle Media etc etc) and find out which modeling/casting agencies they use and go with that one.

Thank you so much Lorilee. I cant believe how little there is in Perth!
It just doesnt seem worth to pay those expensive fees when there is not much work here. Dont know yet.
