Donating in Newcastle

Hi,

My wife is giving birth in Newcastle in 2 months time. No hospital here has a public cord-blood collection service which we think is very sad.

The John Hunter hospital in Newcastle is the largest hospital in NSW outside of Sydney and caters for a very large number of people across the state. Pressure should be applied to convince it to set up a cord-blood service.

Hi Mick,

I agree!! I was wondering about doing it too when my son was born last May, but I thought I couldn't do it cause I delivered in Newcastle Private... if you get a petition or something together to submit to JHH I'll sign it, and I'm sure alot of others would too.
