Just seen this on the Itti Bitti website I think it's a fantastic idea to donate MCN's to help out the bushfire victims.
The entire Itti Bitti team is deeply saddened by the devastation of the bushfires in Victoria. So many people have lost everything and we want to help out those who now have to rebuild their lives. We are donating over $15,000 worth of cloth nappies to the appeal and are currently working with the Red Cross to figure out the logistics of how to get those nappies to the people who desperately need help right now.
If you would like to offer assistance to those who have had their lives destroyed by the fires, please give see www.redcross.org.au for details on how to donate.

Isn't that great, that they are donating what they have to try to help.
I'm sure many families will be very grateful. :yelclap:

:yelclap: What a wonderful thing to do!!!
Although, is it just me who thinks its a little bit ironic to give them a product that needs washing...as in, with water...which is the one thing they don't have enough of? :o
Other than that, well done people at itti bitti!!! wonderful thing for them to do!
She's so lovely.:goodvibes:

Many people, especially those with small children will either share homes with family/friends or find some other kind of temporary accommodation within a short period of time, and since it will most likely take a week at least for them to be distributed it does make sense... and it will hopefully reduce the costs parents are having to pay while rebuilding (not to mention encouraging cloth usage)... but I get what you mean =)

The team at itti have been fantastic with me and I am not at all suprised by their generosity. They are wonderful and Im glad I now use their product even though I first had problems with them :)
I had seriously wondered about all those poor people with babies and toddlers in naps and how they'd manage (something that would never have occurred to me a year ago, unfunnily enough). How wonderful. :)
