I usually feed my daughter on the couch in front of the television. I don't use any pillows. I tend to slouch down a little so I'm semi reclined.
DD has always latched on well, and sucked well. Lately, once she gets the first part of her feed over and done with, she rolls face down into my tummy, trying to roll onto HER tummy. Then she pushes herself up, positions herself above my boob, hands on either side, and attacks from above! It totally cracks me up.
She then keeps feeding in spurts - it's usually when she's on the hind milk, and she's always bobbed on and off at that stage anyway.
She's been rolling over for a little over a month now, but has always hated being on her tummy. She's coping much better with it lately, so do you think she just wants to keep experimenting on her tummy?
Sometimes I feed her lying in bed (generally her first morning feed) - is she trying to tell me she likes that position better?
It's not a problem but it's just weird! Does anyone else have a baby who does this?!
