My 16 month old has only 6 teeth is this normal?

Travis my 16 month old only has got 6 teeth, He cut his top 4 teeth first between 10-13 months and got his 2 front bottom teeth at 14 months. His older brothers had a mouthful by this age, Zach had 9 and Dylan had 10. Is this normal or is he a late bloomer with his teeth?

My DD will be 16 months in 2 weeks and she only has 5 and a half (still on it's way through) teeth at the moment.She didn't get her first one til she was 12 months old.I wouldn't be too worried about it,I think that they will come through when they are ready.:)

well my 17 month old only has 7 so it's not that bad!:p

It's very normal hun, i think your first 2 may have been quite early, as opposed to Travis being late.;) Chill, they'l come when they want to.

I agree :thumbsup: I waited 17mths for DS to get his first tooth :eek:

His last 4 molars and also 2 bottom front (not the middle tho) ones came thru just before his 3rd birthday.

I think its very normal! They all teethe at different rates.
My DD is 16 months and has 8 teeth. But 4 of them (the molars) all came through in a matter of a week! :eek:
