Hi there guys! This question has probably been posted before but i can't find it. I really need help finding a twin pram or stroller that fits through a standard door.
Before our twins were born we bought a side by side pram- The duetto made by Swallow. Honestly its a royal pain in the butt. Too heavy and cumbersome i have totally had enough of it. It's great for maybe newborn babies & if you only plan to take them for a stroll. But forget about trying to fit in anywhere. :hair:
My twins are now 18 months & they are tall for their age. I need something a little more compact and easier to push around. The best i've seen so far is the Marco Sky Longhorn which is manufactured by Babydaze. Has anyone got the same pram or know someone who does? Any advice is welcome thankyou:thumbsup:

ive just been doing the huge double pram search
and defintly think either the valco ion or the city twin mini are the best
there is a guy on EBAy selling the ions for $580 delivered (RRP is around $650-700) and the city mini retail for $700
these ones are the only ones i could find under the $1000 mark that would hold toddlers heavier than 16 kg

Hi i am due to have twins in July. We ended up choosing a Baby Jogger City Mini. But for a couple of main reasons It is compact, very light and very simple to fold. It is also easy to push and also the weight limit is quite high for a pram. Dh was very impressed but it.

I had the valco twin runabout - fantastic pram, very easy to push, fit through every door I ever came across and my twins were still using it till they were over three! (I think the weight limit is 20 odd kgs each). Great pram, well worth the money.
Glad to hear the valco twin runabout is good. I need a pram with a toddler seat so that is probably the pick for me.

Love, love, love our Mountain Buggy double for many reasons - one of the most handy reasons is that it fits through doorways and shopping isles etc :)

I am being given a Mountain Buggy Double. The woamn who is giving it to me LOVES IT!!!
I wanted an inline pram for the reason you mentioned - It was a PIA going anywhere with the side by side double!
I tested the Marco Sky and also the Phil and Teds with toddler seat. TBH, I didn't like the Marco Sky - you can't push it with one hand and harder to push on non-smooth surfaces. We hired the P&T and used it for a week and loved it, then went out and bought it.
My two are 20 months and we had the P&T since Nov. I've been very happy (esp going to shopping centres during christmas where they fill the aisles with everything known to man). I love that if needed, we can use it as a single pram (you feel VERY silly using a twin pram with only one side in use). Even if you have the toddler seat on and only one child, it doesn't look as silly. The only thing I don't like is it has limited storage. However, my only regret is I wish we bought it earlier.

We have a steelcraft twin duo ready for when bubs are little, and once they are able to sit, plan on using our P&T sports with doubles kit - I LOVE it!!

I have the original Marco Sky. Bought it for my baby and toddler.
I love the fact that the Longhorn has an extra basket cause I find the small basket on mine pretty much pointless and hard to get to. But otherwise I'm quite happy with it.
You have to remember tho it is a stroller and not a pram so it is that little bit hard to push. But I find all stroller are that little bit harder to push.
Folds nice and compact but it is quite long when folded.
My main purpose and use for a pram is to go shopping. I don't go walking or do any sort of exercise with it. But's it's great for shopping as it's only narrow.
I've been happy with it, been using it for 4 months now, and I'm glad I went with this one.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
Hi :) I don't have twins, but I have a nearly 3 year old, and a nearly one year old! When we had my daughter, our little boy wasn't even 2 yet, so I went looking at twin prams so I could cart them both around :)
We ended up buying the Steelcraft side by side twin pram (~$220), because it folded up into a small(er) package (than our single pram!), it fits through most standard doorways (although I have had a couple where I have to "collapse" it about an inch to squeeze through - while the kids were in it ;), it was affordable and all the reviews I had from people who owned them were good!
We've been really happy with it, and I'd definitely recommend it. I *did* add the Valco drink cup holder to the handles (for my coffee, or a sippee cup, or a snack etc), and I also think you'd want to consider something like that!
The other pram that some of my girlfriends ended up purchasing was the Peg Perego Aria side by side, which they liked.
Hope that helps :)
I love my peg perego twin aria..also have the Steelcraft twin duo which folds up smaller but otherwise I don't think it is as good as my peg.
Hiya - does anyone have tips about a twin pram that takes one of those toddler attachment boards? DS will be 3 when the twins come - I think he'll be too heavy at that time for the valco seated one. But I know he'll need something cause he'll get tired.
Hi with the toddler board I just took my pram to a big baby shop and they tried the boards on for me to find one that fitted my pram and was comfortable for DS to balance on and me to walk with....good luck
