Night nappies for a newborn???? If so I would wait and see how heavy of a wetter your bub is first before spending all that money on night nappies.
Alot of babies are able to use baby beehinds (or similiar etc) at night for the first few months.
so it normal to use ordinary daytime ones?

i used baby behinds on my two
first off you dont need specific night nappies for newborns cause they need to be changed so much
maybe pop another booster in the ones you're getting
Zeke is out peeing the baby beehinds all the time now an hes almost 5 months old

I just used Baby Beehinds at night- she wasn't a heavy wetter so we never worried about night nappies.

I didn't use a night nappy until DS was 6 months old, and it isn't even a proper night nappy.
For the first 3 months, I just used whatever nappy...absorbency wasn't really an issue as he was still pooping through the night and had to be changed every 3-4 hours.
From bout 3-6 months I used a Bumgenius onesize pocket with 3 inserts in it (2 microfibre, 1 bamboo). AT 6 months he needed more absorbency so I switched to Cute Tooshies Bamboo Delight and Baby Beehinds Bamboo, with a Baby Beehinds foldup bamboo booster between the nappy and the wool cover.
This is the combination we still use and it still has room for plenty more wees after 12 hours of use.

I didn't use a night nappy until she started sleeping for a reasonable length of time. Probably about 5 months. Now we use either an Itti D'lish with extra booster or a Magicall with an extra booster.
You are probably best off waiting to see if your bub is a heavy wetter - if not you may not need an actuall night nappy.
