High risk bloods, low risk scan @12 weeks

Hi

Had my nuchal translucency scan & blood tests last week. NTS came back as low risk (heart ok too, nasal bone present) but blood tests as high risk (beta HCG twice normal). This gave me an overall low risk (<1:1000) but concerned as to why beta HCG so high. Anyone know any other reasons why this may be or had experience of this ?

Hello,

Sorry but I am not sure about HCG levels. I couldn't even understand my HCG results what is 12 MOM?
I would feel pretty reassured if the NTS went well.
I'm sure they combine the Blood test and NTS for a reason. Even the combined results don't guarantee anything.
