HELP!!! My nipples are so sore i want to...

im 30 weeks today and although my boobies can be sensitive from time to time, my nipples are so so so sore. Im not very good at explaining them but its not the the tip thats sore but the part all around it. Its not red or anything. If these are my boobs now i dont even want to imagine having babies attached to them! Is this common? Did you have this? What did you do to 'fix' it? Thanks

Oh you poor thing! :) Don't worry, it's very normal for your breasts to be sore and tender at this stage of your pregnancy. Mine hurt so much in early and late pregnancy that my hubby was totally banned from touching and I had to cushion them on a pillow to sleep! The good news - they will probably get less tender when your little guys are born. Once my son was born, I attached him right away and sore boobs didn't even enter my head. If you're worried at all, please talk to your doc or midwife about it though, just in case. Congratulations on your twins, not long to go. Must be very exciting for you! Leanne :flowerz:
