Is Clomid suppose to delay ovulation??
Hi Ladies,

This is my second cycle on Clomid. I have very regular ovulating cycles and this is a last ditch effort prior to IVF to see if Clomid might do the trick in helping produce a healthier riper egg - incase thats the reason for my unexplained secondary infertility....

I have always been an early ovulator somewhere around CD11-14 and I was under the impression that Clomid should help delay ovulation so that you have a riper follicle and therefore a better quality egg?

First cycle on Clomid I ovulated CD14, and this month I just got my positive OPK on CD12 so it looks like my body is sticking with early ovulation.

Does anyone else ovulate early on Clomid too?

TIA :flowerz:

Hi Craftymum

My FS has discussed trying clomoid(find out on Tues) to help bring ovulation forward (short LP) I think CD 14 is a perfect O time. He also said that I wasnt Og very well and clomoid would help me ovulate better so may be even though your O at a good time you just might need to O better????
