Thinking to perhaps overcome my addiction of buying mcn's, i would like to sew some instead. I want to try different types. Is it possible to get any free patterns anywhere? And where can i get materials?

Try looking at the Oz Cloth Nappies website (http://www.ozclothnappies.org/links.html#sewing) - it has loads of useful info on how to sew your own, websites to buy materials, patterns, etc.

yup - as Tami has said - ozcloth is the BEST place to start .. its non profit - so has no real bias to any one store etc .. lots of basic info and links to patterns :)

my favourite store to get material from is nappiescovered - but that is just my own personal choice .. there are other places out there ..
