Hi ladies,

planning my wedding and everything is coming along great, but Im at a loss about the centrepeices. I know that I want the boat to be a very intimate setting for our reception lit up with lots of candles.

I don't have a theme for my wedding, but we are getting married on the beach and having firedancers and drummers etc at the ceremony and our wedding colour is gong to be pink or purple. Im just tryna decide which would suit best.

Any hoping you ladies could help me out. For the ones that are already married would you be able to post pictures of your centrepieces and for any other ladies that have any ideas that could help me out would be great

(by the way the tables are round)

IDEA 1:Fish bowls with bright purple of blue fighter fishes they are absolutely beautiful with blue neon gravel and then tealight candles around it

any suggestions would be appreciated.

i wanted the fish bowl thing at my wedding till i went to a friends and saw her extremely drunk nephews well eating the fish!
in the end i went with bowls with the same flowers from my bouquet floating in them
but instead of water i used the water crystal died the same colour as my brides maid dresses

We had big candleabras. We had a starry night theme and put little metal gold stars all over the candles and fairy lights on the ceiling. I'm not sure if I actually have photos but will have a look later :)

I just went to a wedding that looked amazing. They had long tables though you could easily do it with round ones just change the shape of mirror. They had very simple long strips of mirrors ( they went to a local glass firm and got mostly cut off) they laid them down the middle of the table and had candles of varying hieghts from tallest in the middle. You could weave a light peice of purple chiffon around the base of candles to add oclour. It looks amazing when it gets dark as the candle light bounces off the mirror.

I was going to say fish in bowls make such a relaxing center piece and seem to go well with the theme you've got going!
