I'm thinking about taking a job in an Aged Care Facility on Saturday and Sunday nights. I'll be working in the reception area.
Just wondering what the penalty rates are in NSW for weekends... I thought it might be 125% on Sat and 150% on Sun.
Anyone have any ideas?

I work as a nurse and we get time and a 1/2 for weekends sat and sun, thats on top of the casual rate of time and 1/4. Dont know if this helps though!

Hey, I'm also a nurse but I work for NSW Health so it might be different? We get time and a half (eg- 150%) on Sat and time and three quarters on sun (175%). Definitely worth working weekends IMO!! ;)

Not sure if this will help but I am working on a casual basis in aged care as a PCA and on weekdays morning shift I got $21/hour and on a sat afternoon/evening shift I go $29 hour. but the base rate for me as a PCA is about $15.65?? an hour. the extra is laundry allowance or something like that.
