View Full Version : Help me get started
My bubs have been full time cloth bums for a few months now, and id like to use something non disposable for myself. I dont know anything about cloth pads, except that they exist, dont know good brands and upon scanning down the threads have absolutely no idea what a menstrual cup thingy is.:p
Can somebody please point me in the right direction? I dont really know how to get started.

Maybe check out clothpadshop.com and outrageouscloth.com
Both are very popular. :)
thanks...looking now...so many brands!!!
Q about cups...they sound good, but do they..um..leak at all?

I don't know.
But if you have a look for the Diva cup over BH or any one of the numerous 'I love my Diva cup' threads I'm positive you will find out about any problems and fixes and whatnot.

Sorry late reply..
I can tell you about the menstrual cup if you like:D
Have had mine for about five cycles now , and love it.
No it doesn't leak, you can wear i cloth pad for back up (just in case).
It washes out in the shower and can stay in for 8 hours or more(12 limit).
I have the Lunette
The initial outlay was around $80 because I got a 'deluxe pack' including pads, wash, and wipes...but it has a 5 or 10year warranty (from memory)...
Feel free to ask any questions:goodvibes:

I have a Diva cup and once you get insertion right there are no leaks....unless you leave it to long and are a heavy bleeder.
