View Full Version : Converted!!!
Afternoon all,
Well I have finally taken the plunge and bought my first MCN, well actually 2. Thought I would give it a go before I spend a fortune on one brand and then find I don't like them.
Will see what I think of them and then I am sure I will go ahead and purchase more. I have 2 baby beehinds so will see what I think of them.
Thanks to all of you who gave me advice over the past couple of weeks.

:smiliedance: go Jenna!! you will love them!!
make sure you get one or two of Ems they are awesome!!!
Thanks :D I washed them both yesterday and have done the insert twice already. Glad it was so hot, they dried very well.
I have put one on Maddison this morning just to see how we go, I know it won't be fully absorbent yet so not expecting too much.
They look huge!!!! Is that normal? I mean it does fit her, between the legs it seems to be very padded, maybe that's because I put the booster pad in as well. You don't have to with the baby beehinds AIO do you?
Emma will speak to you at the next meet you make about your nappies, I sure will get a few .
i know it went REALLY busy for a bit then its slowed right down...
opps last post was in the wrong thread.
im almost converted, i just need to see the different types and find the $$ to get started.
ITS TOO BAD THAT EBAY DOESNT SELL 2ND HAND NAPPIES ANYMORE, I WOULD BE REALLY INTERESTED!!
hint hint....pm me

Jen what size did you get her??
i find that with bbh aio i have to get Riley a med the larges are way too bulky for him.. they seem to be a half to a full size bigger then other nappies... you dont have to put the booster in but i do mainly to get that extra satisfaction in knowing there is more absorbancy there lol
good luck sweet, ill see what i have that would fit Miss M and give you some to try and keep if you like the bbh im down sizing atm anyway :D

:smiliedance: Welcome to the addiction Jenna
Have fun - if you're used to sposies, it'll probably take a while to get used to the fact that they're a bit bigger and some are bulkier. Whether or not you need the additional boosters is all trial and error too....depends on M and how much she wets, etc.
Now, just don't spend ALL weekend surfing nappy websites, okay?! :devil6:
There are still some websites that have second-hand cloth nappies.
There's also a few sellers at the Baby & Kids Market.
And the Great Cloth Nappy Hunt is on in March, so there'll be lots of websites to check out while collecting icons to win the prizes.
PLEASE .. do not post direct links .. on this forum OR in PM to each other .. recommending other forums on bubhub is a breach of the rules ..
I would suggest you go to ozcloth .. and look there for links .. http://www.ozclothnappies.org/info.html
its a non proift site .. run for information purposes .. its fantastic ..
thanks
Jenny
