Hi

My name is Michelle and I am a newly trained Doula, Lactation Counsellor, Childbirth Educator, Cert 3 Nanny and Mum of 4. I have attended 9 births, plus my own 4, but these were all pre-formal-training.

My dilemma is that I need to attend one more birth to finish my qual. I am in Sydney, and would be happy to travel to RHW, RPA, St. George Public or Private, Sutherland Hospital, Kareena, or basically any of the Hospitals in Sydney!

My philosophy, is to help you to achieve the birth that you want, to act as a support person for Dad as well, and to answer the non stop questions from family and friends! I can also take photos+video so that your partner can "stay in the moment".

If anyone would like my services, do let me know and we can have a chat. I may consider more than one freebie! Please take advantage of me!!!!!!!

With Thanks,

Michelle

HELLO!!!

I am due to have my second baby at RWH in November. I will be attempting a VBAC (although i am an excellent candidate as I got to 9cm last time and young and healthy so I should be successful).

I am interested in a Doula. Can you tell me what you do during the birth? My hubby will be with me but he's such a shy little sweetie I think he'll need some support too!:D

Look forward to hearing from you!

Ali ;)

Hi there,.... A girlfriend of mine is due at the end of July at RPA,...and would like the services of a doula,. She had a really tough time with her first birth (marathon labour ending in a C.Section),...are you still requiring another birth!?!?

Hi There!

I sure am looking for another birth. I am going to do as many free services as possible prior to October. Births after October 1 will be discounted by 50% if booked through Bubhubbers.

I'd love to help your friend to achieve a better birth. How awful that she had to go through such an awful time. This is unfortunately common, but can be overcome with the help of a Doula. The event of medical intervention is decreased significantly when a Doula attends your birth. It's truly remarkable.

Please PM me if your friend would like a chat.:smiliedance:

Hi Michelle,
My husband and I have been thinking about a doula for our second baby (due oct 15). We had a horrendous experience with our first birth and would dearly love to have a better experience second time around. Due to a 3rd degree tear I'm currently having some tests to see if it's a good idea to have a vaginal delivery or better to go for c-sect. If we do c-sect I wouldnt have thought there would be much point in having a doula?
I've been thinking about doula's and epidurals (we were drug free last time and I'm scared to do the same again after experiencing so much pain last time) and c-sections and turning it all around in my head when I came across your thread. Do you think I'm better off waiting to sort out a doula until after we've worked out if I'm having a c-sect or not? We are currently at RHW but will be transferring to RPA as we're moving house in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for you thoughts on this,
Regards
Susanna
