my dd isnt exactly a heavy wetter but i still find it pretty gross to pick up a wet bub in the morning

I think that if you already prefer crotchet (sp?) ones that you should stick with what you like.

I find the maden mills fleece does fine underneath trakkies or something for winter.
I'll be getting some longies for this winter as well - yet to try them - I'm sure they'll work wonders!

I use minky magicalls at this stage for nighttime use - so mines an 'other' :D
I double boost them with bamboo, but am looking into maybe wool covers with fitteds as he's getting bigger and therefore wetting a bit heavier :)
I haven't used longies at all... yet... Am about to start making my first pair :D

I really hate to say it but I used disposable :o cause the MCN night nappies I have used have not worked for my heavy wetters :(
I love crochet but never used them for night.
