Hey everyone!! my fiancee and i are wanting to try for our second child, we already are proud parents to Elijah our beautiful 10 month old boy, and were hoping for a daughter this time round. WE have heard there are ways in increaseing our chances of having a girl and if anyone knows anything it would be a great help!! Thanks so much have a lovely day!

how are you?

basicaly, male sperm are bigger, and faster than female sperm, however, they alo die faster, hence female sperm survive longer. so, if u try a few days before u ovlate,u increase your chances of having a girl. do you have anythng that tell you what day u ovulate, i strongly recomend, Maybe Baby, as it tells u whe u are ABOUT to ovulate, so u can try then!

I agree with Ami! Another good book which describes cycles etc is 'The Billings Method". It helped me understand! :)

Im only a few weeks pregnant with bub number 2 and im hopeing ive concieve a girl as i have a 2 year old son Connor, i was told to eat alot of dairy before concieving like milk, yoghurt, cheese, ice-cream(that ones easy) and to stay away from salt, also sweet potato is supose to be a 'girlfood' too. Also try a few days before you ovulate. Hope this helps a little, best of luck.

I don't know why ..

though if you take 1000mg of folate DAILY! start asap .. that helps with girls!

Also, have sex just ONCE! thats it .. girls are harder to get so having sex once may sound silly!

fresh sperm create boys ... having lots of sex will get you a boy!

thats my theroy anyway!
