Hi
I don't live in Dalby yet, but we will be moving there in December for 18 months, so just wanted to say hi and it would be nice if we were in Dalby now we could catch up, but hopefully towards the end of the year we can.
Good luck finding some mums and bubs out there

We moved to Dalby back in October and don't know anyone either. It would be great to catch up over a coffee or something for a chat. Our DS is 8 months old.

Yaaayy there are people out there. Glad to hear from you all. Not a bad town but can be very lonely at times.
I'm 27 and recently became a single mum to a very talkative 4 year old boy and a very shy 1 year old girl.
We have been so isolated out here we have been spending our days in the park, at the pool and in the backyard.
Would love to meet up with someone for a cuppa and a chat - really missed that about moving away from my family and friends.
Finally have my son in daycare 2 days a week and my daughter starts one day a week this week but really don't know what I will do with myself on those days!!
Basics about me - not religious but happy for those who are - love my kids but they drive me crazy at the same time :D, don't mind the odd bourbon but not a huge partier (kids killed those days ). I'm a pretty straightforward person who tells it like I see it.
I've met a few mums around the place and the first thing they have asked me is where my husband works and after replying there is no husband that I am a single mother (something I am proud of) they don't really want to know me so I guess you could say I have sort of given up even trying to make friends until now!!
Anyway I should stop rambling hope to talk to you all soon
I'm 28. My oldest DD is nearly 7 and in grade 2. Then I have my 2nd DD who is 4 and myDS is 19mths. My second DD goes to daycare 2days a week and my DS goes 1. There is nothing wrng with being a single mum:).
I know a few people in town but I don't get out much, except for tuckshop twice a month.

well I made some new friends last night - the dalby police!! Bout 2am this morning I had just gone to bed when I hear someone at the back door. Thought I was imagining it so ignored it until somone started knocking on the window. Jumped up and turned lights on couldn't see anyone but my sensor light out front was one. Went back to bed bout 10 minutes later someone was shaking the front door - **** myself this time. By time I got up and to the door could see no one but light was on again. This went on for the next half hour till I got fed up and called to cops to come and have a look around thinking if it was just some drunk kids seeing the cops would scare them off. Seems to have worked however I am now running on fumes having had about 1.5hrs sleep all night.
Gotta love a new town hey

I used to live in Toowoomba and used to know quite a lot of people in Dalby. I hope you meet lots of nice bubhub mums.
OMG, Hopefully they got the hint and don't come back, What area of Dalby are you in? I'm on the west side.
