I didnt realise that last week i bought the boys huggies disposable nappies and opened them have used a couple but just realised. Was just wondering what is different about them will they leak more or less or just the same?Thanx in advance
They are fine for girls to use too. It is just that they have a bit extra at the front as boys wet more at the front. I don;t think they will leak.

The newborn nappies are unisex!;)
I've had to buy Girls nappies before because Coles ran out of Boys ones . The only obvious difference I could see was the colour in the sides of the lining, these were pretty pink! :).

Phew... ok when do they become un-unisex? There is just so much to learn .... !

Here is the Huggies Nappy Product Range (http://huggies.com.au/OurProducts/Nappies/ProductRange.asp) - That is if you are going to use Huggies!
Hope this helps :)
 thanks will have a look now.

Huggies nappies start boys/girls at infant nappies which is the next size up from newborn

There's actually no extra padding up front or anything - I had the opportunity to compare when the supermarket ran out and I had to buy the girls one. The only obvious difference is the colour of the lining, which is inside the nappy - big deal.
So there's no real difference between the boys and girls nappies. Why don't Huggies make them unisex all the way??
MY BF bought some boys ones but i ended up changing them cause according to the huggies site they are different - maybe its the amount of the absorbant crystal stuff they put in them - more up front with the boys ones etc?
There defo IS a difference! I had trouble for months with DD's poo's and wee's leaking out of her nappy at night!!!! Someone on bubhub suggested I try the boys huggies of the same size because she had had the same problem and the boys ones are so much more absorbent! I switched to boys nappies about a month ago and haven't had one leak yet!!!
I know that is hard to believe but it's true, and very wierd! I'm sticking with the boys huggies forever now!

I do the same thing and use boys huggies on DD at night, and no leaks!!

Aren't Huggies the only nappies that come in boys & girls? Maybe thats why they do it, coz people will buy stuff if they think it's gonna work better than other brands...personally, I'm really not fussed on Huggies

A friend of mine has twins, one boy and one girl, and she has always used the same Huggies nappies on them. She just uses whichever she can get and she doesn't think there is any difference at all.
Yes the boy and girls nappies are different. It isn't just the packaging of the boxes. I was talking to a lady who owns a nappy shop and she was telling me - girls have more core at the bottom of the nappies, and boys have more core (to soak up wetness) at the front. She told us most hospitals buy boy nappies in the bigger sizes than buying both sexes. All Newborn nappies are unisex. Boy nappies are suppose to be good on girls too, but girls aren't good on boys.
