I'm about to order my full time pack of either bumgenius 3.0 or bitti d'lish snap in ones.
But I can't decide which I like better!!
You tell me which ones to go with - pleeeeease!!
Personally I wouldn't go for a full time pack with either.
Itti Bitti's I find don't hold pooplosions.. and Bum Genius don't really suit very heavy wetters (although being a pocket you can customise absorbancy)
I'd be more likely to get part-time packs of both, or get another nappy altogether, like Green Kids or Haute Pockets. (which I find both hold poo very well and have never had a leak in.
Though they are a bit bulky...
Or you could do something like go with the Bum Genius, and just buy a whole stack of bamboo or hemp boosters if you need them...
I think Bum Genius are easier to rinse as poo doesn't get into all the layers... but itti bitt's are very trim...
So yeah.. I'd get part-time packs of each.

Hmmmm, excellent advice, thank you!
I have a stack of boosters already, so I might order a part time pack of one of them and see how I go.
I *think* I am leaning towards the bumgenius - they worked a little better for DD. Mind you she is only 12 weeks old, so she isn't exactly a good guide for absorbancy yet! And my 2yo DS wouldn't let me put a pink nappy on him to test...

I have a couple of Ittis, which i love and use heaps when we go out, I have the snap ins. Use to use them at night but now bub is a bit bigger, i find the leak a bit ( she might need to graduate to the next size up though)
I use Lou Lous for days aswell and occasionally at night with a booster. Love them, good for going out coz they are gorgeous designs.
I mostly use my BBH Magic Alls at night with a booster in, never have trouble with them at all and i have just ordered some minky ones which where on special at cotton bottom.
I have never tried bumgenius!
Peapods are OK, they are a pocket nappy so you can boost them up to suit, i brought a night booster to go with mine, and they dry fairly quick too.
I have some greenkids coming but am yet to try them too.
I would avoid buying big packs too, i have a number of different nappies that others rave about but i find they are no good for my DD, depends on the bub i guess! I tend to buy for fashion purposes though, not how they work :p (cant help myself)
I have exactly the same dilemma. I have half small ittis and half bumgenius v3. Need more, as she's outgrowing ittis very fast, [she's 4 months but heading for 7 kg!!]. Just can't decide. V3 less cute but dries quicker. I always use v3 for going out as more reliable. Ittis very lovely to look at and trim but today had major poosplosion which it didn't contain, [but is getting small - she had builder's bum in them and the leak was there].
Have 4 medium ittis already and 8 V3. Just need a few more! Have also got 6 BBH and totsbots covers, which are fantastic as night nappies, but far too bulky for day use for us. Probably going to go for 2 more v3 and 4 more ittis. Just love those fluffy bums! Have 2 mother ease and a greenkids and some prefolds, but never use them as ittis and v3 so darn handy.

I agree with most of this, except my son has had pooplosion leaks in every single nappy I have used, including Huggies, bumGenius, Haute, itti bitti, etc etc. My fav is still bumGenius though and I agree that the great thing is that you can customise the absorbency if needed, although I have never needed to as the standard insert is plenty for my not-very-heavy-wetting son.

Totally agree- I would try some different nappies - best thing I ever did after starting out with just Itti's.
My itti's leak poo just about every time too! But they are the cutest and trimmest looking nappies I have.
I also have a couple of Ecobubs, which are fairly trim pockets. Some poo leakage, but I think not as bad as they fit much better around the legs and crotch.

Itti Snap-In's get my vote - but I haven't tried Bumgenious.
I find the Itti's hold in my DD's pooplosions without any hassles! Also find them amazingly absorbant.

we absolutely love our ittis around here - they work really well and are a great trim nappy - I'm not a huge fan of the bumgenius - but that's mainly just because of the aesthetics.
I agree with what OJ and me said - hold off buying bulk packs - just try a few of the different nappies out there before you decide which ones you really like. If cost is a big issue you can always find 2nd hand ones to try out to see which brands work for you.:)
