extremely tired.

Has anyone been tired after the first trimester has passed? I am 18 weeks and for the last 3 days have had 16+ hours sleep.
I am still exhausted and if i sit down still fall asleep.
I have 2 DS's and keep getting told to remember i am busy. But for the last few weeks my DH has been home a lot and has taken on nearly all the things i used to do and i still just want to sleep.
If i dont sleep i get extreme headaches that dont go away for hours.
I never had this with either of my 2 DS's
Is this normal?

Yep, I'm still tired altho not as tired as in the first trimester

I'm 20 weeks this week, and altho most of the time I'm ok, I still have to go to bed around 8.30 some nights!

I didn't start getting my energy back until around 18 weeks

I was extremely tired in the first trimester and then i seemed to get my energy back in the second trimester. Now i'm 28+ weeks and i'm having to sleep a lot during the day plus go to bed early and it still doesn't feel like i'm getting enough sleep :(

Yes, I have also found that the tiredness has stayed with me on this pregnancy. My first pregnancy I was jumping around, full of energy, this one, I can barely stand for more than 5 minutes, and I am now 32 weeks pregnant. My husband has also taken on alot more household chores in this pregnancy (bless him) as I get exhausted quickly. I think every pregnancy is different, I have not enjoyed this pregnancy much at all. Yes I was extremely tired through out my whole pregnancy.. I would sleep from 7pm to 8am, get up have breakfast and then go back to sleep until 3pm in the arvo! I couldn't get enough sleep!! I loved it though :sleeping::sleeping:

I could have written that post myself!........I'm so tired and feel soooo flat.....can't even pick up the phone and call a friend, just can't be bothered!.......have no energy only enough to get through the day Hubby says it's having 3 other kiddies to also look after but i think it's more than that!.......Hope it starts to improve soon.......
