Hello,
was just thinking about names, our Sons name is Hugo Alexander and he get "Huges" and "Hugh" "Huey" and "Huggo" for short.
For our next child I would love th name Molly but our surname is one syllable ending in Lee soo I think it does sound a little funny. Anyone got any nice suggestions of girls names that aren't too popular - loved Mia (but now it will get too popular" Millie (same prop as Molly) - I love really cute names like "Suki" (but that might be a little too weird it seems to be the two syllable ones I like, anyway would just love to hear what peoples fav names are for girls.
thank you

I love the name Molly sooo much. I really wanted to name DD that but my hubby wouldn't. He actually said it reminded him of the cow they had called Molly. I was so disappointed, but we settled for Sophie, which I love.

Ellie was another name we had chosen but DD just wasn't an Ellie. Also love Lucy.

I always wanted a Molly. Could you possibly hyphenate it so you don't get the 2 lee's sound. Molly-Kate, Molly-Ann, Molly-Mae??

PS Misskitty, My best friend growing up was Kate Amelia!

You know how there are just some names that remind you of kittens or puppies? Molly is one of those names for me....mostly b/c I have a 6 month old black kitten named Molly. So my vote goes toward Millie very cute and uncommon.

My daughter's name is Molly Christine (hubby's mothers name).

Sometimes think it won't suit her later in life but at the moment she is definitely a molly:thumbsup:

I think Molly is an adorable name.

I agree with the other, if your worried about your last name, something like molly-rose is cute.

I love Mia and Amelia as well. Very sweet!

I love the name Molly, my sister's baby girl is Millie May which is gorgeous.
Holly is nice too, and how about Matilda...Tilly for short?
Know what you mean about Mia, I know a few....getting very common though still a lovely name.
My other fave old names are
Charlotte (Lottie/Charlie)
Scarlett
Violet

Lily
Good luck choosing:)

Since no-one else has commented on Suki, I'll just say I love it. I wanted to name my DD Susan (after a school friend) and she would have been Sukie for short. But when she was born she didn't look like a Susan :)
