I was just thinking about all the chocs I miss in the other thread and it got me thinking about things I don't miss...
Not in any order -

Rellies popping in who you don't really like (Christmas is worst!)
grey skies and drizzle for months at a time
small kitchens (no laundries!)
dog poop
parking miles away from my house (lived in a city)
Posh and Becs, Jordan and Peter Andre
The Sun, mirror, express etc.
Really scummy public transport

Any here's some things I do miss

Next sales
Thorntons
Rellies and mates I do like!
Double glazing and central heating
Intelligent news and documentaries etc.
Long summer evenings
Chilly and OTT Christmases

Ahhh well, you can't have it all but Aus is pretty cool isn't it!

You are sooo right, it is lovely to go out and not have to shower and wash my hair when I come home.... not that I go out often or anything!

I miss the central heating, but do not miss the drizzle. Urgh. It made my hair so frizzy.

I also don't miss the expensive, tasteless fresh produce - far superior in Australia!

I don't miss the word "snog" - it does my head in!

Oh and I don't miss the altogether far too frequent blackouts. Though admittedly, they only happened when I was living in the east end of London.

M25 - there's a point ... I was stunned to see what they considered "rush hour" here.

And what they considered a full train ...

Ooh yeah Beany - how about smoking carriages on trains:detective: I remember when I was commuting and often that would be the only place that there was room it was enough to make you :barf:

You guys have crached me up today reading this, I always hated the word 'snog' too but have still kept b***ocks in my vocab as nothing else quite hits the spot! (although it doesnt seem to be as bad here!)
