First I have to tell you what happend yesterday. After using the home OPKits for a few months, Mr C and I were discouraged and surprised to notice that on Day 8 and Day 14, it appeared that I was ovulating, quite dark lines but not as dark as the control line. We were pretty down because we didn't get much BD in and thought that we had missed our chance this month........until yesterday, when what the heck I did another test from the home OPK and wow!!!the test line lit up way darker than the control line. Day 19, we couldn't believe it. DH ditched his Masters degree assignment he was working on and we BD. Also on Morning of Day 18 as well. So here's hoping we did hook up after all. :fingerscrossed: The question we have, particulary DH is: has anybody felt that "conception" had happend, you read things like some woman know instantly. Anyone experienced that. DH was asking me if I felt like it happend yesterday? I didn't think i could feel anything. We are feeling really confident this month, after 2 packets of Home OPTK, and pinpointing the day to a t, lets see. I'm actually due day 28, next Wednesday.

Thanx sugar and spice, whilst I didn't feel nauseous last night, I certainly had really bad stomach pain, we hope it was the moment that the big bang went off inside my womb!

Ohh - best wishes! Each time we fell preg using OPK's the line was STRONGER and DARKER than the control line. Every other month that the line was lighter than the control line we didn't conceive.

Dont forget, when the line is at its darkest is actually about 6-12 hours BEFORE you actually ovulate - so keep on bding!

Hi Ally, thank you for your words of encouragment and advice. We havn't BD today, so I am hoping that because I tested at around 11.ooam yesterday and we BD around 3.00pm(details details), we caught it. Hoping to that a strong little sucker from Day 18 BD may have been hanging around. Other months the lines have been dark, but I have never seen it as dark as it was yesterday. I keep looking at it I'm so surpised. I have kept everymonth test that I have done(Kept the test the day i think i Ovulated) and none of the lines have ever been as dark. Oh:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

Ally, I wish you and Grant all the positive baby vibes in the world.:hugs:

Cheers for that

I still have both dark OPK tests from each time we conceived! lol - and both positive HPT's!

When we were TTC our second angel I kept every single OPK - I had them lined up on my dresser! Grant thought I was nuts, but I was being very careful to check them and compare them all - lol

lissylou - I feel really really tired today, like I could fall asleep on my feet. I remember feeling like that last time I was pg. But it could just be me reading a bit too much into it. I felt queasy yesterday on the day of O but that is all.

Morganj, I have to say that I have been complaining to my DH today about how drained I feel today. So of course I'm thinking things like, well, maybe I'm pregnant. Even though I have been pregnant 3 times, I still have next to no idea of what is required for "up the duffness". But your tired, so am I, it's lucky DAY NO 19 all the way.
OH, maybe maybe just maybe we are.

Hey Ally, sounds like you've snuck a peek into our bedroom and seen all of mine lined up on my dresser. I look at them and wish they were positive pregnancy tests. Oh Dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To this day, I swear to god that I had felt the making of our #1 bub. I remember it being one of the best BD's ever, and I distinctly remember straight after the moment - visualising the fertilisation taking place. I know that this was the one that did it, because it was the only unprotected sex we had that month. If never had those feelings before or since that day.

Sound nuts??? I'm not even one of those people who is into spiritual type thingies - but this is the honest truth. Now that we are trying to conceive #2, I keep reading into everything too much - waiting to feel something at the end of the BD ....... but nothing. Just really trying to stop thinking about it now!

I'm in the TWW at the moment. AF is due on the 4th (in 4 days time :yelclap: ) - so I'm dying to test now, but I'm going to wait till Sunday. Good luck to all of you trying this month. :fingerscrossed:

Hi Aprilsmum, :fingerscrossed: for your testing on Sunday.Lets us know.
Interesting to read your feelings, you're not nuts!!! I'd have to say in regards to feeling anything, not really, just a few cramps(not af cramps though) and hopefully that is the big bang taking place.I'm just confused, af is due on Wednesday, I'm a pretty regular day 27/28, but I ovulated on Day 19:confused:
