I received my Twinkle Lily mama pads in the mail today ... aren't they gorgeous!
I left the colour and fabric choice up to Kat and look at the beautiful colours I got!! They are bamboo velour tops (hand dyed I think!) with a funky cotton printed base and hidden pul.

A new cloth obsession has begun
And you know what the funniest thing is ... my DH doesn't even realise I'm using cloth (he's very anti cloth mama pads) ... if he brings them in off the line they go in DD's nappy basket.

Ohh, they look really good  I've been thinking about buying some for a while. Can I ask how absorbent they are? :o

Ah ok.
They don't look bulky at all.
They actually look very soft.. What is the pink made of, did you say? It looks a bit like a kind of velour..
Duh, you DID say. Bamboo Velour.

Ah ok, they come in different absorbencies like disposable pads. I have hated tampons since I had my first child and bought ones are so yucky. :detective: I might have to slowly invest in some, they look really funky and sooo soft :cloud9:
