for no reason at all while I was making Cobey's lunch just now, I suddenly felt seized in pain down my right side, from the bottom of my ribs to my hips... i can barely walk, it's hurting to breathe, lying down provides little relief. :(
I don't know what to do or how to fix it... i need to go to work in half an hour. :S

ow ow ow :crying:

Is it constant, or only there when you inhale or exhale?

Is it a sharp pain, dull pain, achey pain?

On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a...?

Constant... got worse as I walked around the house more... ended up standing at the bedroom door sobbing to my husband (who was in bed) hurt all the time, but KILLED when I inhaled. (probably only a 5 on pain scale really, but 5 bloody hurts) can a pain be sharpie dull?

Standing still in a hot shower seemed to have eased it off :S but oh god it hurt, it's still 'there' but not hurting much now. I'll limp to work and see how it goes. :S my boss will let me leave if I need to (and he hate seeing me cry, so that always works)

Is it possible bubs may be causing the pain? (Resting on a nerve or something?)

I sometimes got pain like you have described- I had to stand very very still and concentrate on my breathing for a while. (Actually most times I had to sit down, but it hurt to get to a chair)

:hugs: I feel for you, sorry I can't be much of a help- I think I know what you're talking about, but I never found out what it was!

I was wondering the same thing. Thank you :hugs: I was trying to lie different ways and push to see if it was bub and try and get her off whatever she was laying on. I didn't feel anything like that with Cobes, ergh I was in so much pain! :(

One of my parents at work here is a middie, if I catch her this morning I'll ask her about it.

I think if the pain is that bad, then you should consider a quick trip to the hospy. I know it isn't the most appealing thing, but better safe than sorry... x

Hope you are feeling better hun !

I swear how do these women who enjoy pregnancy get away with not feeling any sickness or pain.

Boof was a horror for getting into bad positions & causing the worst pains ever .... I was often crying ... Inbetween vomitting

It is worth even just making a call to your middies if its that bad otherwise a trip in will at least help you put your mind at ease that everything is ok !

:hugs: Hope you are doing OK, and it went away.

I used to occassionally get really sharp stitch type pains on one side and the only way i could get rid of them was to sit still and breathe into my hands - for some reaosn reducing the amount of oxygen in my blood helped - NO idea why! I only realised by fluke as i had my face in my hands crying/breathing 'cause it hurt so much. :fingerscrossed: It was a one-off and doesn't happen again!

I had the same thing with DD, never figured out what it was though, just cried about it. :o

It does hurt! And it's always more painful when you don't know what's going on!

Hope it goes away for you, let us know what your middie friend says, I'm curious to know what it is. :o:)

I'm feeling much better now, thanks for the theories and sympathies! I finally caught up with middie friend this afternoon and she went through a few things (placenta detaching  but no, lol wasn't sharp and pain went away... round ligament stretching - no because it was OMG10TIMESMOREPAINFULTHANTHAT...) and then we came to what it probably was (drum roll please) very possibly a muscle spasm, in her words "They can absolutely kill... horrible horrible pain." so I'm going by that.. And, crikey, I hope I don't have one again :S
