Its your sacroilliac joint. I had it too but I have been going to the osteo and its pretty good now, hardly hurts at all.

Its normal but you can get help for it.

I also have problems with my lower back. I am nearly 37 weeks, and have been seeing my chiropractor every two weeks. It helps a bit, but the pain is still there (mainly when I sleep!).
Hope yours feels better with your yoga:fingerscrossed:

I'm 25 weeks too, and it's starting to get uncomfortable (as is typing with a cat on my lap *sigh*) - I'm doing pregnancy yoga and it seems to be helping (only been to a couple of classes so far), but the worst bit seems to be sleeping on my left side makes it worse?

Oh well, only 15 weeks to go...

oh yeah!! i get this too!! takes me about a minute to change sides in bed cos my back gives me so much trouble- and getting up to go to the toilet quickly in the night? ha, i dont think so. i need a few minutes to get from laying down to standing straight cos the pain in the lower back is so troublesome! I go to chiro every 2 weeks but it seems to be worse after the chiro apt than any other night!

Hi KLM,

I know how you feel!!!! I had a bad back for about 6 out of 9 months, my doctor told me nothing would fix it and just try to 'grin and bear it' WELL i wish i was told that you could ease the pain with chiro!

I will give you some good no GR8! news as soon as bubs was out the pain stopped! I did have a c section but when i got my feeling back there was no back pain at all!

I also had really bad heartburn at the same time so sleeping was nearly impossible!

I hope it gets better and you are lucky enough to loose the pain after bubs is here:fingerscrossed:
