today my little daughter decided she wanted to feed almost all day today. and when she wasnt feeding she was so cranky. i usually only feed her every 2-3 hours during the day but today has been 1-1.5 hours. sometimes she'd only drink for 5 mins, the other times would be for 20+ mins....

is she going thru a growth spurt (@ 11 weeks tomorrow)?
or is she just thirsty/dehydrated cos its so hot today? every nappy has been extremely heavy...

about 12weeks or 3months they can have a growth spurt..

and yes it is hot.. so i would be welcomming the extra feeds. shows shes getting enough

:iagree: with S&RM - I think that it's probably a bit of both. Make sure you have LOTS of fluid yourself to ensure your supply is maintained.

Hi noopy, my four month old is doing a similar thing and it's exhausting isn't it.

I suspect as the others have said it's a combination of a growth spurt and the heat. Hang in there it will end.

It's likely a combination of the two. A growth spurt plus the weather :)

I agree with everyone else so far, probably a bit of both.

I can relate. Today it is 44 degrees here and my little one has been on me pretty much non stop keeping herself hydrated. I am living for her sleeps today :cool:

Sounds like you're doing a great job and got one clever bubba who knows what she needs :)
