hi all ive been told by doctor to take sertraline because of my depression whats every one think about it. i breast feed my son who is nearly 13months twice daily. i havent started them yet

Did your doctor know you were breastfeeding? If he did I am sure he would have taken it in to consideration. I am on Effexor and Bfing and DD has had no problems. Generally the rule is that it is such a minute amount that crosses over (like 0.04%) that they consider it a minor risk. but google it and maybe talk to your Doc again :hugs:
