Hiya, this is a tad TMI but I have 2 cuts on one of my labia. They REALLY sting, especially when I go to the loo which seems to be every 5 minutes these days.
I don't know what has caused them and DP said they just look like splits or cuts. Could it be from going to the loo so much more than usual?
I have been tested for all the STIs so it can't be that as I have not had another partner and my partner is not having any issues, nor has he had another partner.
Does anyone know anything that would help them heal quicker?

I'm not sure of any way to make them heal quicker but you could take something like URAL which neutralises the acid in urine to stop it stinging.

 you are not alone, I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, and I am having twins also, I think it is from going to the toilet heaps and wiping there heaps, I use cottonelle tissue as it is softer down there and also have starting wearing pantie liners, since this it has gone away, I think if you try to keep it dry down there it will help.....

Thanks Helen, I was getting a little freaked. I got some bepanthen and am giving that a go.
I will try and be a little more gentle I think.

Those sorts of breaks in the skin are quite common and they heal well and quickly :) Keep then clean and dry.
I have that at the moment as well...It is very annoying!!!! I find in this heat that when at home I wear long skirts with no underwear to let it all breathe...Dab at the area with toilet paper when you go and try to keep it dry..

I had that too!! Didn't do anything for it though, it healed itself up. Was told to use baby powder, like hell I can aim down there at the time LOL :o
Hopefully with everyone's suggestions, you will get better 'down there' and know that's its actually quite common to get it...
To heal I'd suggest sitting in a salted bath and then to keep things ok down there I also agree with using panty liners (change them a couple of times a day if needed). I also baby power that area each morning after a shower - mainly just in the leg creases so I don't get too hot and sweaty, but it's better than nothing. I use the powder with corn starch as it's better at absorbing moisture and is much kinder on the skin.
Good luck!

I am guessing it is sweating and the heat that has affected them too because I have a heat rash on my inner thigh now where my leg rubs against my knickers. The heat is not doing me ANY favours this year.

Just in case you get the same problem again, I diluted tea tree oil in some warm water and used this to clear up infections/inflammation, including slits/cuts. You can just pour it over your genitals whilst sitting on the toilet (you'll have to lean backward), or you can dab it on with cotton balls. It worked really well for me, even after birth to help heal a bad tear. Otherwise, you could use arnica. Ask you health food store or naturopath.
