Hi.
I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me out. We are renovating our house, and have just added a second storey - and hence, a new staircase. My problem is the stair case is too wide for conventional child safety gates (and even with extensions my son could wiggle them free as it will not be fixed to a solid wall). I am building a matching gate, but need ideas for a child proof lock/latch? Short of using a padlock and key - I don't know what to use, as Master 2 is very inquisitive, and had the fridge/oven/kitchen cupboard door locks figured within a day :(
