I am an author (and a mom!) currently researching the spiritual experiences of pregnancy, such as dreams, intuition, pre-birth inner communication, etc. I experienced several of these with my own pregnancies, which lead me on a quest to find out more and share my research with others!

Let's start with intuition.

QUESTIONS:

1.Have you had any experiences with intuition about your pregnancy or baby? (Or even about a friend's or relative's pregnancy or baby?)

2. Did you simply KNOW that you were pregnant?

3. Perhaps you knew from deep within you what the gender of your unborn babies would be?

4. Maybe you knew you were having twins?

5. Or maybe you knew deep inside of you about complications or health concerns related to your pregnancy or baby?

6. Perhaps you learned some other piece of information about your pregnancy or baby from your intuition?

If you answered yes to any of these, would you be willing to share your story or stories with me for my book?

Please email your stories to me at: pregnancystories2 @ earthlink.net (remove the spaces around the @ sign please) In your email, please let me know if it's okay for me to use your first name and location in my book, or if you prefer to remain anonymous.

Thank you so very much!!! :)
Janiece

P.S. Please share with me as many details about your pregnancy or baby related experiences with intuition as you can. If you are only able to share a sentence or two, that's fine; I can still use that! But if you are able to share at least a full paragraph, that's even better! Again, THANKS!!!

Wow what a great thing to be writing about!!
Well i have known early with all my pregnant bellies what sex the babies were......when someone would ask, i would just say i have a strong feeling it,s! and i have been right the 4 times.
People would say no i think your having this or your showing this way, but i was on the mark....I have had some complications with birthing my babies but i never had an insight into that!
I do however have a strong feeling, like i never had before that this little fella is going to come early:yes: I have even got everything ready and i have for months...yes the nesting thing started early this time!!
As the feeling i get is i will go into labour early!
The feeling is not strange it is not in your mind all the time, it,s like knowing how to tie your shoes or ride a bike.....like it,s installed right in the back of my subconcious and always has been there, like something you learn or know when young and it,s just always there!!
Does that make sence??
cheers!

I have not had anything like that as such, but my Nanny told me 5 years ago that one of the grandkids would have twins. I knew It would be me, and now I am having twins. She dreamt it. There is no history of twins in my family.

I will let you know if my dreams of b/g twins are true in 2 weeks time :)

I knew i was pregnant with DD before i tested. I sat down to have a V energy drink and as i looked at the can i thought 'I can't drink this - i'm pregnant'. I know why i knew but i did
I also knew she was a she and dreamt of her. She looks exactly like my dreams.
Before DD i was pregnant and knew from the onset that the baby would not survive - my strong feelings were correct as i miscarried that baby.

Thank you all so very much for your replies!!! Bubhub, and all you wonderful ladies here, are awesome! I've been working on collecting stories for about five years, and got more stories from you in a single day than I normally get in two months!

Hi there, I knew my childs sex, hair colour, eye colour and temprament before birth, I also had dream about him before his conception. Oh yes and I also knew something was very wrong before we were diagnosed with help syndrom and IUGR.

Let me know if you still need stories.

I knew from the first night I got to know my partner that his next child would be a girl, and what do you know 12 months later we had a baby girl. He had told me he wanted a girl and I just knew straight away that his next child would be a girl. I also knew that my first born would be a daughter. I've known since I was about 15, don't know why, or where it came from, but I knew I'd have a baby girl and now we have 2!!

1.Have you had any experiences with intuition about your pregnancy or baby? (Or even about a friend's or relative's pregnancy or baby?)
After having a miscarriage with my first pregnancy I was terrified of having another loss when I became pregnant again, but for some reason I just knew that this baby was going to be ok!

2. Did you simply KNOW that you were pregnant?
I did with my first pregnancy, but with my second I was actually certain I was not!
3. Perhaps you knew from deep within you what the gender of your unborn babies would be?
I knew when I was pregnant that I was having a baby girl. I looked at boys names, but somehow from the very beginning knew it was a girl - all I wanted was to look at pink things.
I also had a miscarriage at 18 weeks and never got to find out the gender of our angel baby. But looking back at the things I had bought, everything, and I mean everything, was for a boy, so I guess it was intuition - but it was all subconcious.

5. Or maybe you knew deep inside of you about complications or health concerns related to your pregnancy or baby?
I was never confident in my first pregnancy. I was always so afraid of something happening to the baby, and then when I had some spotting I just knew that it wasn't right. Even after going to the hospital, and having an ultrasound and being told that although there was some placental bleeding, everything looked fine and would most probably be ok, I just knew that something was going to happen - whether it be that the baby wouldn't be healthy or a m/c.

With my 2nd pregnancy I knew that I would be the one with complications. I always had a feeling that something was going to happen! I organised to finish work at 34 weeks pregnant instead of 36, and ended up having to finish at 33wks and 5 days when I was put on bed rest for pre-eclampsia! Pretty accurate if you ask me, lol.
