View Full Version : Tresillian...?...?...?
I hope I put this in the right spot...:o
Has anyone ever been to tresillian? If so, why and how did you find it....helpful?...not?...?
I am thinking about going there for a few days to get some help for my baby, she simply hates feeding! It's like the bottle is her enemy:gloomy:
I am frustrated and upset, it is a fight every bottle. I have had her checked and there is nothing really wrong with her that would cause this.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, I just don't want to waste my time and money if it isn't worth it.
Surely someone has had something to do with tresillian....?
Or at least knows of someone who has???
I'm at my teather and need help!:gloomy:

OMG Tressillian in a LIFESAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I completely and totally reccomend u go!
I took Angelo at 12months because he wouldn't wean from breat to bottle/cup and was feeding every 2hours at night and wouldnt go to sleep on his own, only on the boob.
After the 5night stay he was totally off the breast, falling asleep alone and sleep at night from 7pm-8am and still is 4 months down the track!!
The support is GREAT! Theres always someone to talk to/cry too!!! ANd I made 2 amazing friends there whom I see every month!!
If u want more info u can pm me but I definately reccomend u give them a call.
Thanks Steph, I've pm'd you.
YES!! GO GO GO!! I definately recommend them!! I went with DD when she was first born because she couldn't keep food down and I was frantic thinking it was something I was doing. You go there thinking they are all old witchy Know it alls, well I did, but they are so nice, lovely women.
They are so understanding and never make you feel foolish for asking silly questions.
They helped me so much and within 2 days I was so much more confident in knowing what to do. It was a great experience. I actually was looking for something to go back for!!! I didn't want to leave!! (not that I stayed over night, but you know what i mean.)

Hi guys just thought I would let you know that there is a Tresillian nurse available to contact on MSN. It's pretty handy.
Her MSN address is tresilliannurse1@bigpond.com
She is available to chat Tue-Fri 9:30 - 3:30 EST
Love tresillian
It changed my life.
My two where BF all night up to 8 months and I literally was up every 1.5 hours feeding. They now sleep from 6.30 to 6 at night and have two day sleeps AT THE SAME TIME which is great.
GO.

I have spoken to the tresillian nurse that is on MSN messenger and she is really nice and really helpful. I had some trouble with Bailey waking in the night and the nurse gave me some suggestions and i tried it and it worked. She also asked me to come back online the next day to tell her how things went during the night which i thought was great!!. so maybe talk to her before you spend the money to go to the place. Anything is worth a go !!!!
Thanks for all your replies guys. I phoned them this morning and unfortunately they were no help. They just passed the buck and told me to call someone else.:banghead:
I have been crying non stop since 7 this morning and am reading to give up hope that things will change. She has been put on a different formula to see if that makes a difference, but I doubt it.
If this doesn't work I am demanding to go to stay at tresillian or Karitane, whichever one can fit us in quicker.
I'm at my wits end with it all, I don;t know how muckh more I can take!:crying: :crying: :crying:
Added the tresillian nurse to my msn a couple of weeks ago. Getting ready for Sep :)

Hi Kris,
:hugs: to you, I hope things are going much better for you now. I was sad to read that you were having such a hard time with the feeding. I would love an update on where things are now. Feel free to PM me if you feel like it, you are not alone in this, I have a 4 month old so I know how things can get to you.
Take care
Jackie :)
