I have FF my little girl since she was 2 days old and now @ 2 weeks old I am thinking about switching her formula to a different brand.
She is currently on Karicare Gold (as per the advice from my sister) though this is one of the most expensive tins around!
Just wondering if it would be harmful to my daughter if I was to switch and can you suggest any particular?

as far as i know it is ok to switch formulas with out weaning from one to the other
but as far as formulas go i think karicare is great i have my dd2 on karicare soy and am extremly happy with it
My son thrived on Karicare - the from Birth one. He was a happy chucker though so we went to AR then eventually to HA AR before we sore dramatic improvements. No real dramas when changing, just some loose nappies for a few days until things settled down.

I 110% recommend Bellamy's Organic.
Worth every cent. :)
It isn't harmful to switch so long as when you find one that works don't change it. If she is thriving on Karicare then there prob is no need to change. Sometimes changing can open a whole new can of worms if they don't agree with it.
But if you are looking for a cheaper formula I can recommend Heinz Nurture Starter. I use the non Gold and find it fine. And it is cheaper than other formulas and I have found it suited my DD better than the most expensive ones.

Personally, with my experience of 3 FF babies, if I had found a formula that my baby was thriving on I wouldn't change it. It can be so hard to find a formula that suits, that IMO you would be mad to change just because it's a few dollars more than you'd like to spend.

It can be hard to find a formula that suits a baby. we tried like 5 different brands until we found the right one for DD. We definately had no probs with the Heinz one.
