2009 Nappy Hunt

Someone mentioned an upcoming nappy hunt on this forum recently but I haven't been able to find anything about this . Does anyone know when the next one is coming and if so how it all works .

I am hoping there will be some really good sales during this time , I have my list all planned out !!

Anyway if anyone knows more about this that info would be great :thumbsup:

Been searching the net to find it all I have found so far is On the sparkling dragon designs it say's

Good idea.. I have the 2009 Australian Nappy Network calendar.. It has it already written on the calendar with a link to the site... :o

They generally do two a year.... well they did last year I am pretty sure.. :confused:

I think it was Feb and Sept last year... and I know there is one in the process of being organised now as well because I've had emails saying the organisers are in the process of organising it! ;)

Wow girls , thanks heaps for all your hard work looking . I do hope they have one before September because our baby is due in July !!

I have never done the hunt before , do you girls know whats involved / how it works ? I seen something from last year about there being prizes at the different sites .

I didn't spend much time looking for the icons but I did register mainly so I could use my code for the great discounts! Picked up a few bargains, didn't realise they did it twice a year :yelclap:.

Oh no, I'm trying to break my obsessive nappy addiction. i just bought all of my meds about 2 months early because I was thinking too much about it and it was starting to take over my life :laughing: I promised dh that by buying them early I would stop obsessing about nappies as we would be set for the next year and now you tell me there is a nappy hunt!!

It's basically an online scavenger hunt.

You search for a set number of little icons - they are in the shape of a nappy - or some people think it looks like an owl. They are hidden on the sponsor sites - you have a list to work from.

Some are easy to find and some are :hissy: to find - ie the extreme sites -but the extreme sites have awesome prizes - I know of people who just hunt for the extreme sites.

But there is a hint forum for helpful hints if you get stuck. Though don't expect hints in the first week.

There is really only a couple of no no's - don't tell anyone else where the icons are. And don't share clues either. We are pretty strict on those and you'll get disqualified.

And when you register with them they give you a code and if you enter this code at checkout on the sponsor sites you get a discount - some only give 5% others give 15%.

I didn't really look for the icons, just used the code to get the discount.
