I tried some once. It was sweet :yelclap: No wonder DS loves it so much!

My partner has caught some on his hand before and tried it. I LOLed at it. ;)

I expressed some colostrum while I was pregnant and tried that - so rich and fatty!

DH has tried some - not on purpose (in fact the first time was when I was about 7 months pregnant while we were.......hurumph.......you get the idea. He goes "I think I just got a mouthful of milk!" I was like :o - moment killer, but then he went back to what he was doing, so can't have scarred him too badly!! LOL)

The only time I've actually tried my milk has been when its dripped down the side of a bottle of EBM - can't be bothered getting a cloth - so, you know. It is very sweet, isn't it! No wonder we all have such sweet tooths!

I've only had a lick of it and it is very sweet! I'm not a sweet tooth person so I don't know about drinking a bottle of it LOL :laughing:

A friend of mine said she had some leftover EBM that her baby couldn't finish so she gave it to her dogs and they loved it.
I also heard of someone putting it in their DH's coffee and he had no idea but he said it was delicious!

I had a try of my colostrum and it was sticky and sweet too! :p

I haven't tried breast milk (well, not in 25 years, at least) but I will no doubt give it a go.

Yep i have tried it when i had some EBM and dd didnt finish it so i tried it and nearly threw up it was horribly sweet i have tasted it off my finger too that wasnt too bad but i wont be drinking EBM from a bottle in a hurry.I must have liked it wen i was a baby though as i was BF till i was 18 months:laughing:

It's like perfume - the stuff itself may be pretty forgettable, but the packaging is amazing. :D

We tried it. Why not? I wanted to know what my bub was tasting, so I tasted it. DP got some when he was.. erm.. exploring.

While it was sweet, the temperature wasn't to my liking. Not that I'd go ahead and pop it in the fridge for coffee with the girls, but if it was cooler, it'd probably be more palatable to me. Good thing babies prefer warmer :)

I have tasted it too, I'm lazy when it comes to wiping the outside of the bottle, then I usually end up sticking my fingers in my mouth at some stage during the feed...YUCK! Its horrible!

Its like someone mixed half water/half milk, and a cup of sugar! :eek:
