Ovulation Kit Results - need help

Hi Guys,
I used a urine ovulation kit this week on day 13 only a very very faint line appeared and on the pack it said that the line has to be just as strong as the control line otherwise it is negative. The next day - 14 I tested again and got a strong line and I also had alot of stretch milky clearish CM (sorry tmi) and then I did another test on day 15 and got a very faint line again.

I did one more test today day 19 but it was my first wee for the day and I got a really really strong line, was this just because it was my first urine for the day? Do you think I ovulated on day 14 or am I only ovulating now?? Anyone had any experiences with these tests? Thank you. sorry this is so long.:rolleyes:

That is strange. It makes you wonder doesn't it. Perhaps it was because you used FMU (or maybe that you caught the egg - opk can apparently be used a hpts as well). :fingerscrossed:

I didnt get a positive line all month last month. But im sure i O'd as i had pain on my right side and some spotting, however i thought it was about 4-5 days too early. I did test the day b4 the spotting and got a negative. hah They only confused me rather than help.

Hi there

Having used these kits and had two successful pregnancies, I hope I can help you.

If you used your first morning wee that could be the problem as hormone levels can be higher in sleep. You should NOT use the test before 10AM, and not after 6PM, and try very hard to always test at the same time of day. I would say if you got a faint line and then a strong line, that second day was the right result.
