A good Park for a 1st Bday Party - Southside

Hi, I am in the process of thinking about my little girls first birthday party & I was wondering if anyone could reccommend me a good park to have it in? I live in Seven Hills which is around Cooparoo/Morningside/Camp Hill. I would prefer something around here but don't mind to travel for a good park!

Would love if it had a good playground with some suitable activities for 1 year olds, tables with shade, BBQ, plenty of parking & generally in a nice area & a nice park.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi there,

We went to a birthday party in November @ a really nice park at Carindale. I just had a look on http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/BCC:BASE::pc=PC_983

We went to the Carindale Recreation Reserve cnr of Cadogan & Bedivere St. It was great with loads of shade from the trees, great playground, undercover areas with BBQ's. It was really nice.

Check the website out - you should find something there. :)
