I've been looking around online for Little Squirts and have been surprised by the price of them! Has anyone stumbled across them at a cheaper price than $75-80?

Do places like Bunnings and Reece still sell them? Or has anyone actually made one themselves? If so, how did they do it?

i just sent DP into bunnings to get me a little pressure spray bottle, i think it cost $9.95. Keep it next to the nappy pail in the laundry and spray the nappy over the toilet...much cheaper than $80!

How to make a home made "little squirt'

Clear tubing $5.80 although you could just cut off a piece of garden hose.

Hose fit and tap adapter $14.50,makes it a 2 way and there is most likely cheaper ones.

Hose end and spray gun $9.90 (there were cheaper sets)

Brass elbow $5.50 to make it on it's side, the 2 way tee won't fit without it because the tap was too short (can't turn because wall in the way).

Total - $35.70 and 20 minutes to put together.

The anti hammer was expensive ($29.90) but that is just to stop the sudden 'THUD' you get when the washing machine stops the cold water.

You don't need one but obviously, I was sick of the 'THUD' so decided to go all out.

You'll need plumber white tape/waterproof tape which is dirt cheap and you may already have some around the house.

Water pressure is very good and can be turned off via the levers on the 2 way tee, I have also run this past a plumber friend and he's says it's fine.

Baby Blossom is now selling a nappy sprayer called Coolcraft Nappy Sprayer. They are at an introductory price of $49.95 but go back up to $54.95 at the end of the month.
